Participated in the merit-making ceremony of the three religions and the royal decoration ceremony on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of Walailak University

On March 28, 2025, the Faculty of Management Science at Walailak University participated in a merit-making ceremony, offering rice and dry food to 33 monks in celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of Walailak University. The event took place next to the Thai Buri Building at Walailak University.

The ceremony was led by:

  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pimlapas Phongsakornrangsin (Acting Dean of the Faculty of Management Science)

  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aranong Cheablaem (Acting Associate Dean of the Faculty of Management Science)

  • Dr. Kanokkarn Ketkaew (Acting Associate Dean of the Faculty of Management Science)

  • Ms. Supicha Wilaisri (Acting Assistant Dean for International Affairs)

  • Dr. Sukumal Klamsaengsai (Acting Assistant Dean for Student Affairs)

  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pensiri Kaewthong (Acting Head of the Research Station, Faculty of Management Science)

  • Ms. Niramon Rawangnam (Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Management Science, in charge of Public Relations, Student Recruitment, and Corporate Communication)

Along with faculty members and staff, they participated in the ceremony.

The event was honored by:

  • Prof. Dr. Somboon Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University

  • Mr. Theerachai Chemnasiri, Chairman of the University Council of Walailak University

They presided over the merit-making ceremony, offering rice and dry food to the 33 monks, and joined in the prayers for the late Prof. Dr. Wijit Srisarn, who made significant contributions to the university, as well as faculty members, staff, and students who have passed away. The ceremony also included Islamic Du’a and Christian prayers for blessings and well-being for the university leadership, staff, and students.
