On Thursday, November 21, 2024, Logistics Management Program, Walailak University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SC Group Co., Ltd. The ceremony, held at the university, was attended by Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University. Professor Dr. Sombat appointed Assistant Professor Dr. Pimlapas Pongsakornrungsilp, Dean of the School of Management, to represent the university in the agreement, alongside faculty members of the Logistics Management program.
The collaboration aims to jointly develop the competencies of the national workforce, ensuring that individuals can adapt to the evolving demands of society and the global economy. Furthermore, the MOU seeks to strengthen the country’s competitive capabilities by leveraging the specialized expertise of both parties to maximize mutual benefits.
Special thanks were extended to SC Group, represented by Khun Suphanin Boonla, Human Resources Manager, and Khun Korakhanok Jaisan, Recruitment Supervisor, for their participation in the signing ceremony. SC Group also took the opportunity to introduce the company to Walailak University students, particularly those in their third year, who are seeking internship opportunities for the 2024-2025 academic year.
This partnership represents a significant step toward strengthening the relationship between academia and industry, aiming to promote practical learning experiences and enhance the skill sets of future professionals in the logistics and management fields.
