WBS Walailak University Expands International Cooperative Education Pathways in Taiwan, Partnering with Hungkuang University and Leading Global Enterprises

The School of Management (Walailak Business School – WBS) at Walailak University continues to drive its internationalization strategy forward, opening doors for students to gain invaluable global work experience. The school recently engaged in strategic discussions with key business operators and industry partners in Taiwan to expand opportunities for international cooperative education and professional training programs for the upcoming academic year.
During this official visit to Taiwan, the WBS delegation—led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pimlapas Pongsakornrungsilp, Dean of the School of Management, alongside Ajarn Niramon Rawangngam, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pensiri Kaewthong, Head of the Research Center, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Tanyamon Petcharat, Head of the Tourism and ProChef Department—collaborated closely with Dr. Tiger Tien, Dean of the Office of International Affairs at Hungkuang University, a valued MoU partner, to establish robust networks with Taiwan’s business sector.
The delegation met and exchanged collaboration frameworks in Taichung with TYLER – Pattern / Visual Culture / Story and TZU HAO / 作好活動, premier enterprises specializing in creative design, event planning, visual production, and creative culture. The discussions centered on securing cooperative education placements for students, enabling them to tackle real-world business challenges and sharpen their professional skills within multicultural teams.
Additionally, the executives and faculty members met with The AMNIS Hotel, Kaohsiung, a prominent industry partner in the hospitality and tourism sectors. This meeting explored pathways to expand overseas cooperative education and professional training, focusing on hands-on experiential learning, developing international hospitality standards, and equipping students with global workforce readiness.
This collaborative milestone vividly reflects the commitment of the School of Management, Walailak University, to bridging classroom learning with international industry experience, establishing high-quality global cooperative education pathways for its students.
