School of Management, Walailak University Hosts “Publication Boot Camp: From Draft to Publication” to Boost Global Research Impact
On March 23-24, 2026, the School of Management at Walailak University organized an intensive workshop titled “Publication Boot Camp: From Draft to Publication” at Villa Kani Resort & Restaurant. The event aimed to enhance the research capabilities of faculty members and accelerate the transition of research drafts into high-impact international publications.
The workshop was officially inaugurated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siwarit Pongsakornrungsilp, Vice President for Research and Innovation and Head of the Digital Marketing and Branding Program. In his opening remarks, he emphasized the vital role of high-quality research in driving innovation and strengthening the university’s global academic standing.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pensiri Kaewthong, Head of the Research Institute of the School of Management, delivered the project report. She highlighted that the boot camp was specifically designed to provide faculty members with the tools, environment, and expert feedback necessary to refine their manuscripts for top-tier journals.
The event was attended by the executive leadership team of the School of Management and heads of various departments, including:
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Onanong Cheablam, Associate Dean
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Prasit Rattanaphan, Associate Dean
- Ms. Niramon Rawangngam, Assistant Dean for International Affairs
- Dr. Sasawalai Tonsakunthaweeteam, Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies Strategy
- Heads of Departments and faculty members across the School of Management.
This boot camp represents a significant step in the School of Management’s commitment to research excellence, aligned with Walailak University’s strategic goal of becoming a international research institution.
