The School of Management is moving forward to upgrade its research, planning to apply for funding in 2026-2027 in collaboration with RIIE.

December 9, 2025 – The School of Management, Walailak University, organized the “RIIE on Tour” activity under the topic “Research Grant Planning & Enhancing School’s Research Profile” at Meeting Room 2/1, Professor Dr. Wichit Srisa-an Building, Walailak University.
The event was honored by the presence of the Director of the Institute for Research and Innovation Excellence (RIIE), Walailak University, who met with:
1. Assistant Professor Dr. Pimlapas Pongsakornrungsilp, Dean of the School of Management.
2. Associate Professor Dr. Onanong Cheablam, Associate Dean of the School of Management.
3. Assistant Professor Dr.Prasit Rattanaphan, Associate Dean of the School of Management.
4. Associate Professor Dr. Pensiri Kaewthong, Head of the Research Center, School of Management.
As well as faculty members and the Research Center Committee of the School of Management.
The meeting was held to discuss and provide strategic recommendations for the School’s research initiatives.
The discussions focused on planning the submission of research grant proposals for the fiscal years 2026-2027 to ensure they are directional and efficient. The session also aimed at strengthening and defining the research profile and distinctive features of the School of Management to be more explicit and robust.
The participation of the RIIE Director and the close consultation with the Research Committee marks a crucial step that will help the School prepare research proposals aligned with the requirements of funding agencies and the university’s direction.
The School of Management extends its sincere gratitude for the kindness, commitment, and academic support from the Institute for Research and Innovation Excellence, which will be instrumental in sustainably elevating the quality of research and enhancing the research potential of the School and Walailak University.
