Walailak Business School Joins “WU iDay 2026” to Showcase Its Strategic Vision for Internationalization

On Thursday, July 9, 2026, the School of Management (Walailak Business School) at Walailak University demonstrated its commitment to global citizenship and lifelong learning as executives, faculty members, staff, and students participated in “Walailak University International Day (WU iDay 2026).” Centered on the theme “BRIDGES: Bridging Regional and International Dialogue for Global Education and Sustainability,” the event took place at the Sirin Museum to drive global knowledge exchange and collaboration.

At the event, the School of Management highlighted its readiness for the global stage by setting up an exhibition booth presenting its “Internationalization Strategy and Global Engagement.” This exhibition served as a major highlight of the event and was officially evaluated as part of the WU iDay Exhibition Assessment.

Throughout the day, the Walailak Business School community engaged in a variety of global networking and skill-building activities split into two main sessions:

  • Morning Session: Participants attended the inspiring opening ceremony and a special keynote address delivered by distinguished representatives from foreign embassies. The morning also featured the Walailak International Student Excellence (WISE) Award presentation, international student parades and performances, and visits to exhibition booths hosted by partner universities.

  • Afternoon Session: Attendees gained valuable first-hand insights during the “Embassy Sharing Sessions,” which provided detailed information regarding academic programs and further study opportunities at partner universities abroad, concluding with interactive international cultural and innovation exchange activities.

The participation and exhibition showcase not only broadened the global perspectives of students and personnel from the School of Management but also underscored the school’s dedication to building “bridges” that connect Thai higher education to the global arena sustainably.
