NAKHON SI THAMMARAT – On Friday, July 17, 2026, the School of Management (WBS), in collaboration with Walailak University, successfully hosted the “Get Ahead in TCAS 70 with Walailak University” morning session, followed by the “WBS Open House” in the afternoon. The event was met with great enthusiasm, welcoming a large number of high school students and guidance counselors.

Morning Session: Strategic Insights for TCAS 70

Faculty members and staff from the Walailak Business School gathered at Academic Building 7 to warmly welcome students, provide refreshments, and facilitate engagement activities. Attendees watched a live broadcast streamed directly from the Thai Buri Building, featuring key keynote lectures from distinguished guest speakers:

• “Crucial Steps to Making Your Dreams Come True at Walailak University”

  Opening remarks and an inspiring address delivered by Prof. Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University.

• “Navigating the TCAS 70 Admissions System”

  A deep dive into the selection criteria and process by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalie Charoenlapnopparat, TCAS System Manager from the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT).

• “Top Secret: Which Admission Round is Best for You?”

  Practical tips and application strategies presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Neeranat Kaewprasert Rungkawat, Director of the Division of Educational Services.

Afternoon Session: Interactive Open House Experience

In the afternoon, activities transitioned to Academic Building 6 (ST), where the atmosphere was vibrant and engaging. Students actively participated in program exhibitions, received personalized guidance on portfolio preparation, and learned about admission requirements. High school candidates also had the opportunity to undergo mock admission interviews conducted by faculty members.

Program activities were organized across designated venues as follows:

• Digital Marketing and Branding: Room ST316

• Tourism and Hospitality Management: Room ST314 (ST315)

• Professional Culinary Arts: Room ST314

• Admission Interview Room: Room ST317
