Walailak Business School Welcomes International Professors and Hosts Special Lecture on “Publication Strategies for High-Impact Q1 Journals in Business and Management”
On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the School of Management, Walailak University (Walailak Business School: WBS) organized a special lecture entitled “Publication Strategies for High-Impact Q1 Journals in Business and Management” at Cho Pradu Meeting Room, Walailak University Hospital.
The session was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siwarit Pongsakornrungsilp, Vice President for Research and Innovation at Walailak University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pimlapas Pongsakornrungsilp, Dean of the School of Management, alongside executive committee members, faculty, staff, and students. Prior to the lecture session, the school held an official welcoming for two distinguished international academics:
- Prof. Dr. Vikas Kumar from the University of Portsmouth, UK, appointed as Adjunct Professor
- Dr. Archana Kumari from the University of the West of England Bristol, UK, appointed as Visiting Professor
Following the welcome, Prof. Dr. Vikas Kumar delivered a keynote lecture sharing invaluable insights and strategic methodologies for publishing in top-tier journals. The lecture highlighted key areas including selecting high-impact research topics, aligning research designs with global standards, and successfully navigating the submission and review processes for leading Q1 journals in the business and management disciplines.
The atmosphere was vibrant, engaging, and collaborative. Attendees actively interacted and exchanged academic perspectives, gaining both practical research strategies and inspiration to enhance their scholarly work, while further strengthening international partnerships and driving Walailak Business School toward global academic excellence.
