Walailak University’s School of Management Forges Strategic Alliance with 55 Leading Southern High Schools in Landmark MOU Signing to Elevate Academic Networks and Cultivate World-Class Graduates

January 21, 2026 – The School of Management at Walailak University hosted a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with 55 premier high schools from across Southern Thailand. The event, held at the Pattarathammaporn Meeting Room, Walailak University Hospital, welcomed over 100 school administrators and representatives.

The ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University. Also in attendance to warmly welcome the high school executives were Associate Professor Dr. Charun Bunyakan, Vice President for Academic Affairs (Humanities and Social Sciences), Assistant Professor Dr. Pimlapas Pongsakornrungsilp, Dean of the School of Management, and the school’s faculty members.

Building a Seamless Educational Ecosystem

This MOU aims to establish a concrete educational ecosystem that bridges the development of learners from secondary to higher education. 3. Systematic Career Guidance: Laying a solid foundation for future careers in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Tourism and Hotel Management, Professional Culinary Arts, and Digital Marketing.
