Strengthening International Collaboration at the School of Management, Walailak University

December 11, 2025 – The School of Management, Walailak University (WU), led by Asst.Prof.Dr. Pimlapas Pongsakornrungsilp, Dean, and Ms. Niramon Rawangngam, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, extended a warm welcome to Dr. Bambang Susanto, Director of the International Office, and Dr. Jubaedah, SE., MM, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business from Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ), Indonesia, on the occasion of their official visit to Walailak University.

The delegation was received at the Honor Hall, Walailak University, for a diplomatic courtesy meeting with Assoc.Prof.Dr. Surin Maisrikrod, Vice President for International Affairs and Academic Development. The meeting was attended by executives and faculty members from both institutions.

The primary objective of this visit was to discuss strategic frameworks for developing international academic cooperation. Key areas of discussion included:

• Exchanging visions on educational management.

• Developing international academic and research collaborations.

• Building a sustainable partnership network between the two institutions within the ASEAN regional context.

Both parties reached a consensus on the potential to further expand this partnership into concrete joint projects soon.

The School of Management expresses its sincere gratitude to the Center for International Affairs (CIA) for their excellent coordination and support during this visit. This collaboration reflects the university’s commitment to promoting internationalization, academic excellence, and providing global learning opportunities for students and staff.

This official visit by the UPNVJ delegation marks another significant milestone in expanding the School of Management’s international academic network and lays a strong foundation for future collaboration.
