The Walailak Business School (WBS), Walailak University, continues to strengthen its international academic collaboration by hosting a special guest lecture from a visiting professor from Malaysia.
The event took place on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 10.00 – 11.00 AM at Meeting Room 113, Academic Building 3. WBS had the honor of welcoming Dr. Siti Rahyla from Universiti Sains Malaysia to share her expertise with the faculty.
Dr. Siti Rahyla conducted a session that covered two highly relevant aspects for modern academic and organizational development:
- Sharing Executive and Research Experiences: Dr. Rahyla shared her valuable experiences in both academic management and research, providing inspiration and guidance for effective scholarly work.
- Research Trends in Environmental Economics, Value Chain, and Knowledge Management for Sustainable Development: The core lecture focused on the latest research trends in critical areas such as Environmental Economics, Value Chain analysis, and Knowledge Management, highlighting their essential role in achieving Sustainable Development goals.
This guest lecture is part of the School of Management’s commitment to raising the standard of its research and teaching to an international level. It provides faculty with direct access to contemporary knowledge, cutting-edge research methodologies, and innovative ideas from an international expert, fostering high-quality scholarly output and positive societal impact. In addition, the School of Management is honored to have a Visiting Professor teaching the course “Economics in the Digital Era” throughout the program for our students.
