Walailak Business School (WBS) Hosts Research Workshop to Elevate International Publications in a Warm, Collaborative Learning Atmosphere
On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, the School of Management, Walailak University (Walailak Business School: WBS) organized a specialized academic workshop titled “Research Planning and Quality Enhancement for International Publication: Research Experiences, Research Design, and International Collaboration” at Cho Pradu Meeting Room, Walailak University Hospital.
The event was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siwarit Pongsakornrungsilp, Vice President for Research and Innovation at Walailak University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pimlapas Pongsakornrungsilp, Dean of the School of Management, alongside executive board members, faculty, staff, and students of Walailak Business School.
WBS was honored to welcome Associate Professor Dr. Florin Mihai Nechita, Visiting Professor from Transilvania University of Brașov, Romania, as the distinguished guest speaker. Dr. Nechita shared his valuable research experiences, insights on research methodology and design, as well as strategies for establishing international research collaborations.
The program featured two comprehensive sessions:
- Morning Session (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Individual Research Consultation Session, offering personalized guidance, direct feedback, and in-depth discussions for researchers.
- Afternoon Session (3:00 PM – 4:30 PM): Sharing Session on Research Planning and Quality Enhancement for International Publication, focusing on strategic planning to produce high-impact international publications.
The atmosphere throughout the day was warm, friendly, and highly engaging. Participants actively exchanged ideas, discussed research challenges, and gained practical insights in an open and supportive environment. The workshop not only provided valuable knowledge and actionable research techniques but also fostered inspiration and unity for faculty members and students to grow together and elevate Walailak Business School’s research excellence on the global stage.
